We have done a lot of work to upgrade this traditional Glasgow sandstone flat. The key to a successful design is making the most of the space available and that often means structural work to reshape the rooms and optimise the usable space.
Rip out old bathroom, repair floor and then split into two to create an ensuite
Move the partition wall between bedroom and kitchen
Replace supporting wall between kitchen and hall with steel frame
Now build new double pocket FD30 rated double sliding door partition between hall and kitchen
